In this newsletter, we are bringing you what you like the most - our FREE tools. Did you know that ApexSQL has as many as 9 completely FREE tools? We offer both dba and developer tools for free and we'll make sure to provide insights into all of these over the next few newsletters... But for starters, let's focus on free ApexSQL developer tools. Free ApexSQL "old-timers" To start this free developer tools overview right, we'll first remind you of our well-known free old-timers: ApexSQL Complete, ApexSQL Refactor and ApexSQL Search. ApexSQL Complete ApexSQL Complete is a SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio add-in that speeds up coding by automatically completing SQL code statements, filling in SQL code fragments and more. This tool has been around for 7 years now and we are very proud of what we have achieved through all the 40+ releases we've had so far. This is one of the oldest ApexSQL tools, and we've released more than 35 versions so far. They are all "newbies" and are yet to gain the popularity of our old-timers, but nevertheless are worth your attention. In this newsletter, we'll be presenting ApexSQL Decrypt and ApexSQL Compare. We love to think of ApexSQL DevOps as the king of free tools, so we decided to leave it out for one of the next newsletters so we can pay it the attention it deserves. ApexSQL Compare ApexSQL Compare is a tool that can compare files, SQL Server objects, and folders. It can also be integrated as an add-in into SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio or it can be used directly from command line interface. The major features include: Two-way compare and merge Char-by-char compare Line-by-line compare File and folder compare Block-by-block compare And many more...
