This means we have a lot to cover in this newsletter, so let's get started... Day 1 support for Windows Server 2019, Azure SQL Database Managed Instance and SSMS 18 We're very proud to announce that we provided Day 1 support for Windows Server 2019 and Azure SQL Database Managed Instance. We are also happy that all of our tools/add-ins will soon support the first public preview version of SSMS 18 as well. Please see our supported software page to check out if you favorite ApexSQL tool is already supported. ApexSQL DevOps toolkit - Bamboo plugin One of the most important releases we've recently had is the release of ApexSQL DevOps toolkit (formerly ApexSQL CI/CD toolkit) Bamboo plugin. This release brings in the following features: Native Atlassian Bamboo user interface Continuous integration: Build a SQL Server database directly from source control and optionally include static data Fill empty tables with synthetic data Integrate trigger-based audit trails and reporting into change sensitive database objects Generate full or differential documentation for the SQL Server database Test SQL Server database using unit tests Enforce database best practices by reviewing, detecting and fixing issues Create a clean database package for easy deployment Publish package to a designated NuGet feed Continuous delivery: Compare SQL Server database schemas and create a script for schema synchronization Compare SQL Server static data and create a script for data synchronization Push schema and data changes to a target database Archive all output files in a central folder Automatically create rollback scripts Flexible pipelines For more details on the Bamboo plugin, check out What's new in the ApexSQL DevOps toolkit - Bamboo build server plug-in and for the step-by-step guide on how to setup CI and CD tasks, see How to setup continuous integration and continuous delivery tasks using the ApexSQL DevOps toolkit Bamboo plugin ApexSQL Monitor 2018 R7 We've also released a new version of ApexSQL Monitor, a Windows and SQL Server monitoring tool with a wide range of monitored metrics. The new release comes with quite a few new features and 10 known issues and bugs fixed Full Support for Azure SQL Database: The new Azure metrics page Deadlocks monitoring using the SQL Server system health event Deadlocks monitoring using the ApexSQL dedicated extended event Deadlocks chart in the SQL Server metrics page is added A new dedicated page for reviewing collected deadlocks A new single query execution history chart in the Query waits single page Etc.
