ApexSQL December 2017 newsletter - New product released for dependency visualization, data loss insurance and 50% pre-order discounts Click here to view this newsletter in your browser ApexSQL December 2017 newsletter We have released another new product, ApexSQL Analyze, for SQL Server database dependency analysis and visualization. This new tool is available for free to ApexSQL Developer and ApexSQL Universal customers. Simply go to our Resend keys form to get your activation key. ApexSQL Analyze processes SQL Server databases with a 0-error, proprietary algorithm that catches all dependencies and renders them into functional visualizations that can be further analyzed via filtering, highlighting, and more. ApexSQL Analyze includes the following features: Supports SQL Server 2005 or higher, Azure SQL Database and Amazon RDS for SQL Server Analyze graphical SQL objects dependencies Customize and manipulate dependency diagrams View dependency type and level details View dependency lists and tables Show/hide unreferenced objects Inverted selection of objects Show SQL object scripts Export dependency diagrams to BMP, JPEG and PNG formats GUI themes To learn more please see the following articles: ApexSQL Analyze 2018 – Product update alert What’s new in ApexSQL Developer: ApexSQL Analyze, graphical dependencies ApexSQL Analyze 2018 – Screen shot tour Disaster recovery insurance for only $28 an instance a year Sure you backup your databases but in many cases that isn’t enough because you may be faced with a choice of overwriting any changes since the last backup, to recover lost or damaged records. ApexSQL Recover provides that additional capability, in such scenarios, to ensure 0 data loss recoveries, even from critical and catastrophic disasters. ApexSQL Recover can specifically identify and isolate certain transaction to reverse allowing surgical precision to fix the affected data, while leaving the “good” data unchanged and intact. ApexSQL Recover also offers recoveries from deleted, dropped and truncated data, deleted data and files from SharePoint and deleted BLOBs. Traditionally, such capabilities haven’t been inexpensive, and the cost made the technology prohibitive in some cases, against deploying in larger server farms. But now, with a new per usage licensing model (in addition to the current per-instance), you can have these disaster recovery capabilities deployed and ready to implement, at a moment’s notice, for as little as $28 per SQL Server per year, over a 5 year TCO. Here is an example assuming 100 instances and a 10% incident rate per year: If you are interesting in seeing costs for your own particular environment and number of instances, you can use our online calculator To learn more see Data loss recovery insurance: Insure your SQL Server instances against accidental data loss for as little as $28 per instance per year Pre-order discounts The early bird gets the worm and the same is true at ApexSQL.
