ApexSQL August 2017 newsletter II - ApexSQL Monitor facelift and new product to monitor VM and Hyper-V Click here to view this newsletter in your browser ApexSQL August 2017 newsletter II What’s new We have released a new version of ApexSQL Source Control since the last newsletter. In this release, 2017 R5, were a lot of quality and performance improvements but also some innovations you’ll be seeing more in our other ApexSQL applications soon, including host-aware themes and SSMS 17 icons. These changes improve the look and appearance of our tools and also provide for a more seamless integration into SSMS and Visual Studio hosts. Look for more on this on a blog post sometime in the next week or two. What’s next We are in the process of finalizing a facelift for ApexSQL Monitor that adds new interfaces, features and usability improvements The new UI will feature a panel aka card view, to show aggregate performance data in a different way than the standard table view. The cards can be flipped to see information on both sides. We’ve also improved filtering and polished the layout for improved usability. These changes should arrive with the next release due in approx. 1 month.
